COMPANY POLICIES AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION FAQ's
PLEASE READ ALL THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE SCHEDULING YOUR SESSION!
To note before your photography session:
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Don't stress! We're so excited to work with you. We do our best to accommodate you in the case of an emergency, illness, or other unexpected circumstance. Please understand we cannot guarantee the possibility of a rescheduled session as this will be based on availability. Sessions rescheduled before 72 hours of the scheduled session may be eligible for a refund. The refund would not include the security deposit made to acquire your session. Security deposits are made to ensure a time slot just for you. Unless Rei Mooney Photography is unable to provide services for a session for which you have already paid a security deposit, no security deposit can ever be refunded. In the case that Rei Mooney Photography must break a contract with you, your security deposit will be refunded in it's entirety.
What happens if I'm running late, or don't show up?
We realize things happen. Especially with Hawaii traffic! In the case that you are running late to your session, please call the number provided to you at the time of scheduling to let Rei or her associates know. Please do NOT email about lateness. Always call, and leave a message if you can't reach us. There is a 15 minute grace period if you run late to your photography session. In the case that you are more than 15 minutes late, the photographic coverage will continue until the agreed end time of the photo session. In the case you are more than 30 minutes late, Rei or her colleages will complete photographic coverage until the scheduled session end-time but will not be able to cover the full time as agreed in the contract. In the case that you are more than 30 minutes late, you will be considered a "no-show" and there can be no refund of the security deposit or payment. Rei and her colleagues will always guarantee at least 30 minutes for your arrival (did I already mention we're excited to see you?) but cannot guarantee waiting any longer than this time period. If you can, just keep in contact with us so we can be informed and we will do our best to work with you. In the case that you are more than 30 minutes late to your session and I am not able to produce images for your pre-purchased prints, products, or editing, your rights to these products will be forfeited. Please try to be on time, and definitely do show up! We want you to deck your walls with the images we create together.
In the instance of a medical emergency, a letter from your medical provider of your condition written within 72 hours of the scheduled session time will make you eligible for a partial refund of your payment. Refunds requests can only be made within 31 days of your scheduled photo session date.
What happens after your photo session:
How long will it take to receive my photos?
We know you are oh-so-excited to see your proofs and receive your final edits and photography products. Rei Mooney Photography has a new "Are We There Yet?" policy in place to ensure you will be able to view your images within 5 business days of your photo session via this website. Please note federal and state holidays, as well as vacation dates do not count as business days. If your project or deadline is time-sensitive, please be sure to confirm with Rei or her associates about the "Are We There Yet?" policy for the date you have scheduled your hawaii photography session.
Depending on the number of clients and types of projects and orders, your order may take 3+ weeks to process from the date of the session or date of order. It is our utmost priority to complete your orders as soon as possible. If you have specific time-sensitive projects or deadlines, please let us know at the time of scheduling and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How long will my images be on file?
Your images will only be guaranteed to be on our servers for up to one year from the session date. If you had a session longer than a year ago but wish to make an order, please contact Rei at the contact page or email email@example.com directly to request a search in our archives. Depending on the number of clients acquired per year, we may still have your images on file.
I have purchased a package that includes editing, prints, or other products. How long do I have to make my order?
Since your files will only be kept in archive for 1 year from your session date, please be sure to make your order within 11 months of the date your gallery of proofs is published in an online gallery. This ensures Rei and her colleagues will have time to process your order before your images will expire. If you have a special circumstance, please just let us know ahead of time so we can do our best to help you. Your priviledges to editing, prints, or other products included in your package become exempt after the 11 month mark. Please understand this policy must be in place to run our business efficiently and to ensure our customers order their items in a timely fashion.
